Puddle in Petojo Selatan Declined Significantly

Improvement of channel and environment in Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta which is done by Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers has come to positive result. The area that used to be prone to flood is getting decreased significantly.

The clogged channels have been normalized so if raining the puddle get receded quickly, we really appreciate the spry PPSU officers' work

Rusli (46), Chairman of RW 07 Petojo Selatan Urban Village, said that one of flood-prone areas is Jalan Petojo Enclek Gg 8. Even raining only poured down for 2 hours but the puddle could be up to 30 cm but now the puddle recedes quickly since the channel functions normally.

"The clogged channels have been normalized so if raining the puddle get receded quickly, we really appreciate the spry PPSU officers' work," he expressed, Friday (12/18).

15 RWs in Cempaka Putih Prone to Flood

Petojo Selatan Urban Village Head, Kamal PPSU work that keeps normalizing all channels is regarded capable enough to decrease puddle points.

"Everyday our officers are spread to some zonation to clean channels and it is proven when rainy a couple of time ago the puddle receded. If it gets long the officers will go to follow it up," he disclosed.
